Kid's Art & Mural Program

June 12-Aug 25, 2017

Kid's ages 6-14 have fun learning and creating art. We paint on canvas and learn how to draw cartoon characters and realistic subjects. Making crafts and ceramics are just some of the activities. Teens will be learning and developing their mural skills in the community.

Your child will make new friends and develop their social skills while making and sharing their art. We will have daily  outdoor activities and games too.

Weekly discovery trips are a must. Visiting art museums and galleries are an excellent way to learn about awesome artists, become familiar with the arts, and get ideas. Other excursions in the past were to the zoo, County Fair, Skating, parks, library, Softball Hall of Fame, and more.

Breakfast and Lunch are provided for those who don't bring a lunch.

SPONSOR A CHILD IN AIY ART PROGRAM

Give the gift of art creativity by sponsoring a child in our yearly Summer Kid's Art & Community Mural Program. Sponsor a student for a week or more. Art is healing and builds self esteem.  We go out to visit those who may be shut in to share art and do activities. Exploring the neighborhood and giving back to the community are very important. Collaborative murals are just one way that we bring a colorful cheerful smile to neighbors, residents, and businesses.
